Chile Powder

Skiing fanatics are heading south to sample the fantastic snow and crowd-free slopes of Chile and Argentina. At this time of year, people desert the crowded commuter trains of Britain and head for the crowded ski lifts and slopes of Europe's top downhill resorts. But while in winter all roads lead to the Alps, it's the Andes that are fast becoming the cool destination, as skiers from all over the world enjoy the June to October winter season in Argentina and Chile.
