FOUR people were killed when a pick-up truck and a Volvo collided head-on on a notorious road in the Scottish Highlands yesterday. The horrific crash on the A9 near Aviemore claimed the lives of the male Volvo driver and his two-year-old daughter, as well as a man and a woman in the pick-up.
Girl of Three Killed As Wall Collapses
A GIRL of three died yesterday when she was crushed by a 6ft high wall that collapsed as she walked by on a country footpath. Her mother clawed frantically at the breeze block to try to reach the girl, called Megan, as emergency services dashed to the scene.

He was on board a Lynx helicopter as it chased a speedboat suspected of shipping cocaine from South America. When the boat tried to flee, Royal Marines on the helicopter shot at it, forcing the crew of three to jump into the sea.

THE parents of a woman who died in suspicious circumstances in South America have accused the British Government of lying to them over her death. Laura Hill, 25, died in Buenos Aires in October 2007 and her parents were told by British consular officials in Argentina that her death was due to natural causes.
