So Ed Miliband has finally realised that those people abusing the benefits system disgust even lifelong Labour voters. Of course, his party did not have the guts to deal with the problem in office. It was during their time in Government that foreign workers were allowed to enter the country and millions of British people chose a life on benefits as a career path.

The original purpose of the benefits system was to support people genuinely unable to work, and to help others survive spells of unemployment. It was definitely not intended to allow people capable of working to go through their lives avoiding it.
