CHELSEA had goalkeeper Petr Cech sent off as they lost their 100 per cent record to Wigan Athletic in one of the biggest shocks of the Premier League season.
Cech argued vehemently with referee Phil Down after being dismissed for a challenge on Wigan Athletic striker Hugo Rodallega with the score at 1-1. But Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti had little sympathy with his superstar players after the 3-1 defeat, claiming: 'It was the right result. Wigan played better than us.' The upset was Wigan's first win in 34 attempts against the Big Four and allowed Manchester United, 2-0 winners at Stoke City yesterday, to go above Chelsea at the top of the Premier League for the first time this season.See the full content of this document
