Summary

While the Sunday Independent and Sunday Tribune have been shedding readers over the past six months, independent sales figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulation show that the MoS sold an average 125,420 copies every weekend between July and December 2008 - that's 1,500 more every weekend than over the same period in 2007, or an increase of 1.2pc. This compares to the 11pc sales fall for the Irish News of the World, the 4.8pc drop in Sunday Tribune sales and a 4.3pc decline at the Sunday Independent. The Irish Mail on Sunday also outsold the Sunday Times' Irish edition by more than 15,000 copies each week over the same period.
