APPARENTLY, we're 50 times more likely than the Japanese to suffer from depression because we don't eat enough fish. Our meat- and wheat-based diet is resulting in serious mental health issues, according to a study by the Institute Of Brain Chemistry And Nutrition in London Metropolitan University.
Given the times we're in, I suggest the Government send us all a few vouchers for our local fishmongers. It would help the mongers, the fishing industry and - who knows? - it might make us cheerful enough to look on Mr Cowen's Cabinet more favourably.
