Your Irish cover would also extend to Norway and Switzerland. Once you have valid insurance here, you are automatically covered to drive in these other countries with at least the minimum legally required cover. It is likely that whatever cover you have in Ireland will apply, but check with your insurer. Your insurer may also supply you with extra evidence of your cover.
