AYR is preparing to make the Doonside Cup one of the richest races of its kind in an attempt to avert the same threat to its future as the one currently jeopardising Hamilton's Glasgow Stakes.
An additional 10,000 will be added to this season's Doonside Cup, taking its prize fund up to 50,000 for the first time, in an effort to negate the small fields which have proved a defining characteristic of the historic Listed race for the last 20 years.See the full content of this document
