CASH-strapped families in search of a cheap personal loan to tackle their debt must act quickly.
Financial data compiler Moneyfacts says a number of major loan providers, including crisis-hit Northern Rock, Norwich and Peterborough, Cheshire and Derbyshire building societies, as well as Bradford Bingley, have increased rates charged on unsecured personal loans in the past two weeks as a result of the financial problems in the banking sector.
