NEW Peterhead manager Neale Cooper promised an attacking policy in his first game in charge. And his players responded with a 9-2 thrashing of lowly Berwick Rangers. Martin Bavidge, with a double, started the goals avalanche before Bobby Mann, Stuart Mackay (hat- trick), Calum McDonald, Graham Sharp and Rory McAllister joined in the romp. Iain Diack scored both Berwick goals. Andy Barrowmans injury-time header earned Ross County a comeback 3-2 win over Airdrie United.
Kevin McDonald gave Airdrie the lead but Barrowman knocked in a 25th-minute equaliser. Stuart Golabek then drove in a second for County in 55 minutes but a Stuart Noble header three minutes later tied the scoreline. A looping David Templeton header was good enough to give Raith Rovers their 1-0 win at Queens Park. And a John Dempster penalty earned the three points for Cowdenbeath in their 1- 0 win at Brechin.See the full content of this document
