THE Olympic dreams of the fastest man on no legs, Oscar Pistorius, could be shattered this week if scientists find evidence that his prosthetic legs give him an unnatural advantage.

The South African sprinter, 20, who had his legs amputated below the knee when he was 11 months old, has sparked a surge of interest since it was announced that he would compete in Sheffield today against the world's best 400m runners, including Olympic champion Jeremy Wariner.
