When you're evaluating your own body language signals, it's wise to remember that there are two key aspects to any set of gestures: 'why' you are performing them, and 'what' they seem to be saying to other people.
RENE RUSSO's motives are crystal clear here. She's working the red carpet pose with the typical teeth 'n' cleavage look beloved of female celebrities, and although her gaze appears a trifle distracted, it's obvious she's aiming for 'elegant and starry'. Her husband DAN GILROY's signals are far more obscure, though. If we're being generous, his 'why' could be that he's keen to show off his gorgeous wife and her slender hips to the press.
