The bike on which Abigail Clancy is perching so prettily is arguably as iconic as the image of a blonde in leathers on a motorcycle albeit updated with modern features such as a gadget bag and interchangeable tank covers.

In the Sixties, the Triumph Bonneville was the epitome of two- wheeled style the type favoured by the 'ton-up boys' who supped tea at London's Ace Cafe and chased mods for fun. Bike enthusiasts Steve McQueen and Bob Dylan were famous fans, and later Evel Knievel, Clint Eastwood and Richard Gere were seen riding the British machines, too.
