Since 2004, my neighbour has built an extension plus garage at least 5ft over my boundary and taken 18in of my land by erecting a fence across it. Initially, we shared a surveyor who did a perfunctory job and found in favour of my neighbour. I have since consulted three further surveyors.
They agree with me, but my solicitor says it could cost up to Pounds 50,000 to bring a case and I might not win. Can I take down the fence, after making my intentions clear?See the full content of this document
