Los Angeles is hardly a romantic city but it's the setting for two romantic comedies this week. In Search Of A Midnight Kiss (15) **** is one of the most enjoyable indie films I've seen in ages - with its smart talk, slacker characters and monochrome photography, it harks back to the heyday of Jim Jarmusch, Hal Hartley and Kevin Smith.
