Good news first: Sony's 3D TVs start at about EUR 2,000, far less than the depressing EUR 3,500 pre-order prices that popped up online.
Bad news: early adopters will have to invite friends round, sit them down with bowls of popcorn and unveil the future of entertainment in the shape of... er, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs on 3D Blu-ray. There really isn't much else to watch bar the children's film its makers describe as the 'most delicious event since macaroni met cheese'.
