THIS newspaper is the first to point out the failings of our leaders: but we are also the first to acknowledge when they do their jobs well.
Last week, we lambasted Justice Minister Dermot Ahern for claiming that the Garda had all the resources it needed to fight the criminal gangs of Limerick, and for being too arrogant to see that people wanted action, not just words.
