Summary


JOCKEY Ian Brennan has gone to France to help him recover from the trauma of escaping from the fire that killed his teenager girlfriend and another promising rider last weekend at Norton in Yorkshire.

The 20-year-old survived without injury after jumping from the window of the second-floor flat where he lived close to the stables of his boss John Quinn. But his girlfriend Jan Wilson, 19, and her fellow apprentice Jamie Kyne, 18, died in the the blaze early on Saturday morning. Their bodies will be released by the coroner tomorrow.
