IT MUST have seemed like a bit of fun at the time, an opportunity too good to miss. Liverpool are warming down after the 1-1 FA Cup draw at Luton and some of the players jog past your hospitality box, which at Kenilworth Road resemble those old High Street gas showrooms.

As Jamie Carragher passes, a group of fans dressed in curly wigs and shell suits, impersonating the bickering Scousers from Harry Enfields TV show of a decade ago, apparently shout the catchphrase Calm down, calm down, at him. All quite harmless, even amusing so far. But Carragher loses his temper, it seems, and scales a fence, shouting Come on, lets have it, among obscenities. A security guard has to restrain him.
