HEARTS will almost certainly have to wait until next year before learning whether their planning application for the proposed [pounds]51million redevelopment of Tynecastle has been successful or not.

The City of Edinburgh Council received the club's proposals back in January but are not ready to make a decision on whether Hearts can proceed with the ambitious plan to build a new main stand as part of an expansion which would also introduce a hotel, residential space and sundry facilities to the stadium.
