COUPLES choosing to marry at some of Scotland's most stunning historic landmarks have been told guests will have to 'release bubbles' instead of throwing confetti.

The policy, by Historic Scotland, covers some of the country's best-known properties, including Edinburgh Castle, Linlithgow Palace and Elgin Cathedral.
