EXPERTS last night cast doubt on the authenticity of the pictures of British troops allegedly mistreating a prisoner which were published in the Daily Mirror.

Military specialists pointed to a series of oddities and said the scenes of humiliation and abuse looked staged. Close study of the five-page sequence of black-and-white photographs raises the following points: .
