ANDY RODDICK demonstrated a rapier sharp sense of humour to match the world-record breaking velocity of his serve as rain obliterated play at Wimbledon yesterday.

After Friday's blitzing of Austria's Alexander Peya on Court Two - known as the 'graveyard of champions' - Roddick said: 'Hell, I could hear people eating potato chips and guys hitting on girls in the front row. But if Pete Sampras can play there, I should be on Court 18.
