IN THE first real glamour occasion of the season, few will be putting sizeable bets on Motherwell dancing around Hampden holding the CIS Cup aloft this afternoon. Indeed, with Dundee United's 7-1 hammering in the semi-final at the same venue still painfully fresh in everyone's memory, Terry Butcher has already brought up the subject of fear for his young team.
He most probably discussed that fear earlier in the week, just to get it out in the open, so he could then work on dispelling it from the minds of the players as much as possible in the intervening period.
