DAVID James, the company doctor who saved the Millennium Dome, has emerged as the favourite to partner the Chinese in producing Rovers at the giant Longbridge car plant.
It is thought that he has reached a deal to use the Birmingham site to make MG sports cars and the Rover 75 and 25 models. The plan could create 2,000 jobs 500 for sports car production and 1,500 for Rover cars.See the full content of this document
