Summary
I BUMPED into Fabio Capello on Friday in Harrods of all places, shopping with his wife. Our brief chat went something like his: Me: 'Hello, Fabio, how are you doing?' Him: 'I have had everything (big sigh).' Me: 'Welcome to being the England manager!' Actually, Capello is better prepared than virtually anyone in world football to deal with the trials and tribulations of such a big job. I didn't mention David Beckham to him but I am sure he occupies the manager's mind at the moment.
On the one hand, Beckham can offer him an option nobody else can; on the other, Capello will not be happy the former captain is being used by AC Milan as a late substitute rather than playing regularly.See the full content of this document
