Toyota's new crossover hatchback, the Urban Cruiser, hits showrooms next month and the firm is claiming the 1.4-litre diesel version has the world's lowest CO2 emissions for a four-wheel-drive car: 129g/km. The petrol version uses the same 1.3-litre Dual VVT-i engine as the Auris and Yaris, fitted with a Stop/Start system that reduces in-town fuel consumption.
