I have never lain down on a beach for longer than about 15 minutes. Anywhere. Ever. And that includes the famous stretch in the Seychelles where they came in search of Paradise and ended up with a few Bounty bars. I am sensible about protective cream, I wear a hat if I am out in strong sun and I cover my shoulders when I feel them start to prickle and to take on the hue of a lobster.

But I love, absolutely love, the sun.
