A KEY Dublin official has refloated the idea of breaking the county up for inter-county purposes - but only at minor level. Brendan Waters chaired the committee that produced Dublin's strategic plan 'Unleashing The Blue Wave', launched this week, and the St Brigid's clubman admitted that the county might have to adapt to the changing demographics of the capital.
'If Dublin and all the urban areas got it together and got the numbers up, you might start playing at minor level. And then after a few years people in Fingal might start saying, "This is not a bad idea - we're not doing badly as a team".'See the full content of this document
