ENDEMOL, the maker of Someone's Gotta Go, may find itself in a similarly perilous position to its show's contestants as its debt is now being traded for as little as 30p in the pound.

The company was bought for Pounds 2.7 billion just before the credit crunch by three high-profile investors - Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi's Mediaset, original founder John de Mol and investment bank Goldman Sachs.
