ENGLAND'Swomen qualified for the World Cup last night thanks to a 1-1 draw against France in Rennes.

Hope Powell's team, who had needed a point to make sure of qualification for the finals in China, went ahead in the 64th minute when French striker Hoda Lattaf headed the ball past her own goalkeeper as she attempted to clear a free-kick under pressure from Everton's Fara Williams.
