Summary
There probably isn't an award for the most violent British film ever, but if there were, then Doomsday (18) *** would win hands down and heads chopped off. It's an insanely gory, deranged, futuristic, fantasy, zombie, post-apocalyptic horror movie - but in a good way. I rather enjoyed its barmy thrills and bloody spills. And any film that roasts Sean Pertwee alive can't be all bad.
