HUNDREDS of thousands of euro has been paid by the Government to the families of members of paramilitary organisations who died in the Republic during the Troubles, it has emerged.
The payments were made in 'compensation' for the loss suffered by the relatives of paramilitary members who died since 1969, including some of the most violent criminals of the past 40 years, and could total as much as e390,000.See the full content of this document
