ST MIRREN signed off for the summer with Kevin McGowne being presented with the First Division Championship trophy and a surprising, but innocuous, 1-0 defeat at the hands of their closest rivals, St Johnstone.

Of course, nothing was going to spoil the promotion party. For the Paisley club and their fans, there was every reason to celebrate long into the night.
