Summary
A FAMILY of eight were rescued by helicopter from a swollen river last night after their boat became marooned during a day out.
The two adults and six children were winched to safety from the River Skerne, near Darlington, County Durham, by an RAF Sea King helicopter and taken to hospital in Middlesbrough.See the full content of this document
