TWO injuries in 48 hours have forced Frankie Dettori on to the sidelines at the start of the biggest week of his life.

He will not ride again until at least Tuesday but has no doubt that he will be fully fit to ride the favourite, Authorized, in the Vodafone Derby at Epsom on Saturday.

Dettori damaged a toe on Wednesday when his boot was ripped open leaving the stalls at Lingfield, and worse followed two days later when he was catapulted to the ground at Goodwood.

He won the next race then promptly retired hurt.
