ANDREW FLINTOFF will take on the responsibility of launching England's World Cup countdown from No 3 today against India in his 100th limited overs international.

Skipper Flintoff and coach Duncan Fletcher have decided that the talismanic all-rounder should move up the order when they begin their ICC Champions Trophy campaign in Jaipur. It is the first of only 10 guaranteed one-dayers before the start of the World Cup in the Caribbean next March.
