ARRON DAVIES and Sammy Clingan opened their Forest accounts as Colin Calderwoods men moved into second place, a point behind Orient with a game in hand.

Davies, signed from Yeovil in the summer, set them on their way in the first half before Clingan ended a wait of almost 22 months for his first goal. Crewes miserable afternoon could have been much worse, with rampant Forest, who left leading eight-goal scorer Junior Agogo on the bench, hitting the woodwork five times.
