While many of his customers are soaking up the sun on holiday, Michael Kain is putting in some hard work as he gets ready for a crucial few months at the company where he is a director, Bramley and Gage, a maker of liqueurs and sloe gin. 'Now is the calm before the storm, since half of our sales are in the three months up to Christmas,' says Michael, 34.
