While navigating a roundabout near the Trafford Centre shopping complex in Manchester, their Nissan Micra was hit by a Lexus car. After pulling off the roundabout, the Lexus driver blamed Eric for the accident. Then he called the police on his mobile phone and accused Eric of racial abuse.
