WORLD champion James Gibson faces Olympic heartache if he flops in today's 100m breaststroke showdown at the British trials in Sheffield.

Gibson, 24, was made an MBE after taking the 50m title last October, but he knows he will have to be at his best just to qualify for the Athens Games this summer - let alone win there - such is the quality in Britain at the Olympic distance of 100m.
