IT WAS ladies' day at Aintree yesterday as 100-1 shot Mon Mome, left, owned and trained by women, won the Grand National.
Owner Vida Bingham, an international bridge player, was celebrating after Mon Mome became the longestpriced horse to win the famous race for more than 40 years. The horse is trained by Venetia Williams, only the second woman to train a National winner.See the full content of this document
