Summary
FOR the second time, Marilyn Monger showed herself to be anything but the weakest link as she clinched an important win to make Royal Winchester the first team through to the last 16 of The Mail on Sunday Classic.
Seven years ago, she won one of the Anne Robinson Weakest Link programmes. And in her seventh-round match against Middlesex club Stanmore, she stayed just as cool to beat Jenny Pollard 3 & 1. Also a regular squad member, although she did not play against Stanmore, is Sue Buckett, who played in goal for Southampton Saints women's football team and won 30 England caps between 1972-1984. Royal Winchester are now just one match away from the UK Finals, to be held at Marriott Worsley Park, Manchester, in September.See the full content of this document
