THE Scottish entrepreneur behind food group Grampian could be in for a 275 million windfall as his business goes under the hammer.

Alfred Duncan, 64, who founded the company in 1980 with a chicken farm in Aberdeenshire, has appointed advisers to seek buyers for the firm, which has expanded by purchasing rivals to create what is now Scotland's biggest private firm.
