THE profile of Scottish rugby is set to receive a valuable boost, with STV on the verge of agreeing a deal to broadcast a weekly television programme covering all aspects of the game in this country.
It has long been recognised that a lack of television exposure in Scotland has been a major stumbling block in efforts to grow the game.
