I agree with the survey out last week that found provincial accents to be a barrier to career success.
While Scouse accents were shown to face the most prejudice, as a Brummie I have encountered enough discrimination to concern me. When doing work experience in London last year, I was looked upon less favourably than my peers and was passed over when it came to recognition for the work I had done.See the full content of this document
