PADRAIG HARRINGTON has almost cured the swing problems that have blighted his golf all year, but the mental scars left behind may take a lot longer to heal. His hopes of leaving Turnberry tonight with a third Claret Jug to put on his mantelpiece in Rathmichael finally evaporated yesterday during the third round at Turnberry.

After a promising start, his game fell apart and a six over par 76 leaves him with too much work to do today.
