THE Ministry of Defence was accused of double standards last night after it was revealed that military personnel at its Whitehall headquarters have retained a food allowance that has been axed for the rest of the Armed Forces.
Until now, thousands of servicemen and women have been paid a daily food allowance of Pounds 12.41 if they live alone in private accommodation outside their base.See the full content of this document
