Palace manager Neil Warnock was equally convinced the referee called it correctly, saying: 'I thought it was yellow. It was reckless but not malicious.' Darren Ambrose gave Palace the lead with a superb free- kick five minutes before half time but David McGoldrick equalised from a low Lewis McGugan cross just after the break.
