AROUND five o'clock yesterday morning, Martin Clarke slapped off his alarm clock, sat up in bed in his hotel room in Jury's Croke Park and flicked on his TV to watch his former AFL club Collingwood take on their Melbourne rivals St Kilda in the Grand Final.
